Impulse Forces::-
When the forces acting on a rigid body are of very which magnitude and act for a very short time during which there is no relative displacement of the particles of the body, then the forces are called impulsive and their effects are the impulse.
Def::-
If X be any force acting a body from the instant t0 to the instant t1 and if limit functions exist. And equal to x'(say) , Then X is called the impulsive force and X' it's impulse.
Theorem (1) ::-
The change in total momentum in any distance of a body moving in any manner is equal to the sum of the components, in that distance, of the external impulses .
Theorem (2)::-
The change in total angular momentum of a body about a given straight line is equal to the sum of the moments about that line of the external impulses.
